Back to the oldies from Wiz Khalifa. This song is off his mixtape “Prince of the City 2″. The reason why I like this song so much is that they really figured out a way to have the girl in the background compliment the beat and lyrics. I have probably listened to this song 50 or more times, but have yet to be annoyed by that moan.
It is pretty much considered an R&B song but still has this vibe to it that doesn’t make it soft. That is one aspect of Wiz Khalifa that I like so much. His songs are R&B-ish but are also great lyrically and a great flow to compliment.

From the streets of Oakland, Chris Da 5th gives a flavor of the bay and a unique flow to match. I really can’t find much on him except the fact that this song is off his album “The Tonite Show”.

I have been in Vegas for the last two days, and on the way there I started going through all the old cds in my car. Reason being is that I forgot to burn a roadtrip cd. Probably the second most emotional and personally honest rapper behind Pac in my opinion. DMX is one the highlight rappers from the 90’s. Wiz Khalifa, one of my favorite artists, is rising up in the rankings. I was waiting for more hits from him after the release of Deal or No Deal. but I have not come across any. So, I decided to go through his old mixtapes and came across a mixtape featuring Wiz Khalifa and Tyga, “Inked With Bars”. This is where I found this song. I think you guys will like it.

This song has so much hype attached to it. This is the single of Drake’s long anticipated album, “Thank Me Later”. When I heard the first 40 songs of this song, I said to myself, “There is no way this is the single. This does not sound good at all.” Thank god it got better once it hit the first verse. The song gets off to a bad start, but recovers. I still think the chorus is cheesy.
This song has hit the internet hard. In one day, this youtube video has gotten 200,000 hits.
I don’t know this producer Boi-1da, but after some research I found out that he is Canadian and the producer of Drake’s hit singles Forever and Best I Ever Had. Nice resume for this guy.

We all know the songs U Got it Bad, You Remind Me of a Girl and Burn, but there are some old school Usher songs some people just don’t remember. This is one of those under-rated songs. This song, in my eyes, is a good R&B song; I think its that weird instrument in the background that comes every so often that attracts me to this song.

Catchy title, I had to listen to it. To my surprise, this has been out for a while and I have not listened to it before. It has a catchy chorus and is an overall good R&B song.
